A two-color military plan of Rzeszów (Reichshof, Rzeszow) in German language, produced by the Generalgouvernement military administration in Kraków in June 1944. In addition to detailed streets and precise outlines of individual buildings with labels identifying municipal and private facilities, the map marks in color strategic roads and bridges, military and utility service areas, hospitals, and other city features essential to the war; a swastika marks buildings of the occupying administration. Extensive text describes the Rzeszów regional landscape and climate, important nearby settlements and waterways, and selected military features in the city. This historic paper map is preserved by the US Library of Congress and digitally presented by the WIG Map Archive.
