A multicolor general plan and street/traffic map of Bielsko-Biała (Bielitz, Bielitz-Biala, Byelsko) scaled from Polish originals by the German military geography service, printed in a special edition for state use in July 1939 (before the invasion of Poland) as part of a series of 32 town detailed plans supplementing larger geographical studies. The map shows and labels major and minor streets, rail lines and stations, bridges, and selected buildings housing hospitals, schools, post offices, and other public facilities. An extensive street index is included, with proposed renaming of many streets into German. This historic paper map from the Ryszard Hubisz collection is preserved by the WIG Map Archive.
