A large-format color map of Galicia (in green) and Bukovina with the Grand Duchy of Kraków, created by Stanisław Majerski and lithographed by the scientific book publisher Gubrynowicz and Son in Lwów in 1915. The map's tabletop size (80cm by 56cm) allowed the cartographer to include a large number of villages and small towns on a single sheet. Also displayed on the map are rivers, railways, and a network of roads in several levels of significance. The depicted borders of the Kingdom of Galicia were changing even as the map was produced. Original copy of the map from the National Library of Poland; digital copy sourced by Brian Lenius from the Polona Digital Library.
