A large-format color map of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria with associated duchys, created by Stanisław Majerski and lithographed by the scientific book publisher Gubrynowicz and Schmidt in Lwów in 1894. The large size of the map (1.6m by 1.0m) made it suitable for wall display and study. Displayed on the map are elevation zones colored in nine shades, significant cities and towns, railways, and a detailed network of waterways. The depiction of elevations and rivers extends into the adjacent Carpathian areas of what was then Hungary and Bukovina. Original copy of the map from the National Library of Poland; digital copy sourced by Areta Kovalska for Forgotten Galicia from the Polona Digital Library.
