A two-color administrative map of East and West (or "Old and New") Galicia including Bukovina by Franz Ludwig Güssefeld and published by the Nürnberg firm Homännische Erben in 1800. Labeled and annotated in German, the map includes four national distance scales and hundreds of named settlements plus a brief legend identifying their sizes. Also noted are 19 Kreise or districts in East Galicia, but West Galicia had been acquired by Austria only five years earlier in the Third Partition of Poland, and Güssefeld admitted on the map that the Kreise of West Galicia were not yet known. Original map preserved and digitized by the Archiwum Główne Akt Dawnych w Warszawie (AGAD); digital copy sourced for Gesher Galicia by Tony Kahane.
