An incomplete full-color cadastral map of the city of Złoczów (Золочів, Zolochiv, Solotschiw, Zlotshov, זלאָטשאָוו) east of Lemberg/Lwów/Lviv in western Ukraine, surveyed and lithographed in 1844. This is a final-state cadastral map including land and building parcel numbers but no house numbers, with later redline revisions and with considerable wear in the center sections. The large Jewish population (more than 5000 in 1900) was represented on the map by a large brick synagogue north of the market square and two large cemeteries west of the square. The city also featured the remains of a historic castle, several prominent churches, Christian cemeteries, a brickworks, and much more. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv.
