Cadastral map of the residential area of Żurawno (Журавно, Zhuravno, Zurawno), surveyed and lithographed in 1848. This final-stage map includes building and land parcel numbers for Żurawno plus the communities of Adamówka and Pobereże, but no house numbers. Shown in this excerpt are the small but solid market square, three churches, both Christian and Jewish cemeteries, and a large manor complex on the Dniester River north of the town center. The complete map spans 22 sheets; photocopies of the 4 central sheets are stitched here, including most of the building stock of the town. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv (TsDIAL).
