A complete partially-colored cadastral field sketch of the town of Żabno (Zobni, Zhabno, זשאבנא) about 15km north of Tarnów, from an initial survey in 1848. This is a rough preliminary map of the settlement, annotated with house numbers rather than tax parcel numbers, plus many land parcel owners' names. A separate detailed study of the town center at double scale is shown to the side of the main map. The map features a large irregular market square, a church, a Christian cemetery, and northeast of the town center lies a Jewish cemetery already 150 years old at the time of the survey. The nearby Dunajec River is only hinted at by the swamp south of the center. This historic paper map is preserved by the Archiwum Narodowe w Krakowie.
