A complete partially-colored map of Wojniłów (Войнилів, Voinyliv) near Kalush and today in the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast of Ukraine, surveyed in 1848 and lithographed with updates in 1909. This is a final-state cadastral map showing building and land parcel numbers but not house numbers. Never very large, Wojniłów nonetheless had more than a thousand Jews in 1900 (40% of the town's population). An open market square with gardens rather than pavement is shown on the map, bounded by a few masonry buildings; most of the town's structures including two of the churches were wooden. By 1909 the small river which borders the town had shifted course significantly. This historic paper map is preserved by the Archiwum Narodowe w Krakowie.
