A complete, full-color cadastral map of Wisłok Wielki (Вислік Великий, Vyslik Velykyi) near Bukowsko, today in Poland and close to the borders of Ukraine and Slovakia, surveyed in 1852 and lithographed in 1854. This is a final-state cadastral map including building parcel numbers but no house numbers. Merged from the formerly separate settlements of Wisłok Górny and Wisłok Dolny, the village was shaped by the mountainous terrain and the rivers which cut the valleys. In 1900 and until WWII almost the entire population was Lemko (one church still survives), with a few Jewish and Roman Catholic families. This historic paper map is preserved by the Archiwum Państwowe w Rzeszowie; digital scans were acquired by Gesher Galicia with support from Ed Yadlowsky.
