A full-color map of the small city of Trzebinia (Tchebin, טשעבין, Chaben) near Chrzanów west of Kraków, surveyed in 1848 two years after its re-incorporation into Galicia. This is a final-state cadastral map showing building and land parcel numbers, with redline updates from an undated later survey. The small city center features a three-sided market square (with the fourth side in development), a noble family's complex north of the center, a church, small Jewish and Christian cemeteries, and a very small charitable hospital for the poor, the elderly, and travelers. Southwest of the center a newly-built rail line and station welcomed travelers from Kraków to Mysłowice in Silesia, and soon after to Vienna. This historic paper map is preserved by the Archiwum Narodowe w Krakowie.
