A complete full-color cadastral map of the center section of Trembowla (Теребовля, Terebovlia), updated and lithographed in 1861. The entire residential and business area is included in this excerpt, along with broad forest and farmland areas to the west and east; several hamlets well outside the urban core of the town are also labeled. The map features many elements typical of an important mid-19th-century Galician town, including a castle (ruin), a monastery, several churches, Jewish and Christian cemeteries, public gardens, brickworks, and a complicated road network which follows the hilly terrain. This historic paper map is preserved by the State Archives of Ternopil Oblast (Ukraine).
