Two interesting alternate views of an early full-color cadastral map of Trembowla (Теребовля, Terebovlia) from 1828. At left is a high-scale detail map of the urban center of the town, with property owner names (individuals and religious communities) written directly on the parcels; included is a dense Jewish quarter across a bridge over the Hnizna River from a monastery. To the right is a survey planning sketch with sheet layout for the full cadastral map of Trembowla and geographic benchmarks for triangulation. This historic paper map is preserved by the State Archives of Ternopil Oblast (Ukraine).
