A complete full-color cadastral map of the small town of Szczerzec (Щирець, Shchyrets) southwest of Lwów/Lviv in western Ukraine, surveyed in 1850 and lithographed in 1852. This is a final-state cadastral map including land and building parcel numbers but no house numbers. The map shows a solidly-built town square, and outside the square two marked synagogues and two marked churches, plus a large Christian cemetery (the large Jewish cemetery is east of the town center across the Szczerzek River, just off of this map). The interesting and rectangular German evangelical Christian religious colony of Rosenberg is shown southwest of the town center. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv.
