A complete full-color map surveyed and lithographed in 1847 of the village of Siercza together with the hamlet of Klasno adjacent to the salt center of Wieliczka near Kraków. This final-state cadastral map shows building and land parcel numbers but not house numbers, plus many redline revisions from an undated later survey. Klasno no longer exists as a separate settlement, but in 1847 it was a dense community almost entirely populated by Jews, who worked in but could not live in Wieliczka. Large synagogues are seen in the upper right corner of the map, the Jewish cemetery at top center, and elsewhere in both Klasno and Siecza there are quarries and other resources supporting the neighboring city. This historic paper map is preserved by the Archiwum Narodowe w Krakowie.
