A complete full-color cadastral map of the important border city of Rawa Ruska (Рава-Руська, Rava-Ruska, ראווע) northwest of Lemberg/Lwów/Lviv in western Ukraine, surveyed and lithographed in 1854. This is a final-state cadastral map including land and building parcel numbers but no house numbers, with limited redline revisions from an undated later survey. The city became wealthy thanks to trade between the Russian and Austrian empires on the Lublin-Lwów route, reflected in the substantial market square and large city hall seen on this map. Also visible are large labeled churches and synagogues, a monastery, and both Jewish and Christian cemeteries. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv.
