A complete, full-color cadastral map of Raniżów (Ranischau, Ranizov, ראניזאװ) just east of Kolbuszowa and north of Rzeszów, surveyed and lithographed in 1853. This is a final-state cadastral map including building parcel numbers but no house numbers, with redline revisions from an undated later survey. Features include an unusual market square closed at the west end by Christian cemeteries, a brick church, and a large unlabeled Jewish cemetery added in the later survey, evidence of the rising Jewish population which would reach more than 350 by 1900. The German Lutheran colony of Ranischau is north of the square with its wooden church and orderly building and land parcel arrangement. This historic paper map is preserved by the Archiwum Państwowe w Rzeszowie.
