Podkamień Cadastral Indication Sketch 1846
An incomplete full-color cadastral indication sketch of the village of Podkamień (Підкамінь, Pidkamin) near Rohatyn in western Ukraine, surveyed in 1846. This is an intermediate-state cadastral map including land and building parcel numbers plus house numbers on most parcels. Although incomplete, this map is a refinement of an earlier field sketch from the same survey with greater geographic accuracy and more detail. On the surviving panels one can see most of the village center including the village hall, two churches, and a large agricultural estate. Small landowners' names are written on many parcels.
