Podkamień Cadastral Field Sketch 1846
An nearly-complete full-color cadastral field sketch of the village of Podkamień (Підкамінь, Pidkamin) near Rohatyn in western Ukraine, surveyed in 1846. This is an initial-state cadastral map annotated with house numbers on or near buildings and landowners' names on many parcels. A large part of the village center was drawn at double scale to legibly capture details; for this composite map we have fit those center parts into the main map but also retained the original large sketches outside the main map. An assembly of three surviving panels of a refined indication sketch based on this field sketch is also available.
