A complete full-color cadastral map of the small city of Niemirów (Немирів, Nemyriv, נעמאַרעוו) northwest of Lemberg/Lwów/Lviv, surveyed in 1854 and lithographed in 1856. This is a final-state cadastral map including land and building parcel numbers but no house numbers, with limited later redline revisions. By 1854 the market square was almost completely built with masonry buildings, and nearby are a large labeled synagogue and two significant churches; large Jewish and Christian cemeteries are not far away. On a road southwest of the city, a large sulfur water bath (Łazienki) complex fed by the Smerdech River reveals Niemirów's status as a major Galician spa center. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv.
