Feldskizzen of the residential center of Krosienko (коросне, Korosne, Krosenko), undated but ca. 1850 from surveys of nearby towns. Sketched at high scale as an insert into a normal-scale complete field sketch of the town, this sector includes the residential core of the town at the edge of a reservoir. The town has no market square and few masonry buildings; a later cadastral map shows its dominant agricultural character. The original map sheets reveal a rare drawing error by the surveyor: upper and lower sections were topographically correct but parcels were shifted east-west in one sheet versus the other (corrected here). Gesher Galicia has all sheets of the surrounding cadastral area in its project inventory. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv (TsDIAL).
