A full-color cadastral indication sketch of the residential and business center of Gródek (Городок, Horodok, Gródek Jagielloński), surveyed in 1879. This is an intermediate sketch including both house numbers and parcel numbers. All eight map sheets available in the archives are shown in this view, each sheet quartered and pasted to board for field use. The available sheets cover the entire city (divided into named districts) plus many surrounding fields, roads, and waterways. Details include a well-developed market square, a large rail station and line in development, several churches and related monasteries, both Christian and Jewish cemeteries, plus a hospital and other features of a growing city. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv.
