A complete full-color lithographed cadastral map of the small town of Chyrów (Хирів, Khyriv, Chyrow, Chirov), with surrounding farmlands and forests, surveyed and lithographed in 1853. Land parcels and buildings are all clearly numbered, with a small number of redline revisions for a new edition at an unknown later date; one of the revisions reveals the replacement of a bridge over the Strwiąż (Stryvihor) river. Features of the town shown on this historical map include a small market square, two prominent churches, Jewish and Catholic cemeteries, a very well-developed road system, and a surprising number of imperial administration buildings, perhaps associated with customs or transport. Images for this map were provided to Gesher Galicia by the Archiwum Państwowe w Przemyślu.
