A complete single-color cadastral map map of the village of Borki Małe (Малі Бірки, Mali Birky, Borki Male), about 25km north of Husiatyn near the eastern border of Galicia. Dating this map is difficult; a first cadastral survey was made in 1828, then another for a new map in 1860; sheets of that lithographed version were roughly quartered and carried into the field once again in 1877 for the updates seen in red on this surviving original draft. House numbers are hand-written throughout the village, and some landowner names are recorded as well. The village lacks common Galician urban features but shows careful management of the Hnyla River through the residential center. This historic paper map is preserved by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv (TsDIAL).
